- Performing maintenance and participating in major overhauls of electrical installations at the customer’s facilities (West Eskene)
- Maintenance and testing of relay protection and automation systems (RPA)
- Conducting high-voltage testing and diagnostics of electrical equipment
- Maintenance of power transformers, switchgear, generators, electric motors, cable and overhead lines
- Maintenance of uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems and emergency power systems
- Maintenance of grounding and lightning protection systems
- Cleaning, drying, and analysis of transformer oil
- Carrying out periodic testing of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Ensuring compliance with occupational health, safety, and industrial safety requirements during work execution
- Monitoring the quality of work performed in accordance with regulatory requirements and the customer’s internal procedures
- Maintaining and preparing technical documentation and reports
- Recuirements:
- Relevant technical education (Electrical Power Engineering / Electrical Engineering)
- Experience working at West Eskene facilities
- Strong knowledge of relay protection and automation (RPA)
- Hands-on experience in testing, inspection, and configuration of RPA devices
- Experience in high-voltage testing and diagnostics of electrical equipment
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards (including IEC is an advantage)
- Knowledge of safety requirements when performing work on electrical installations
- Valid electrical safety certification (minimum Level IV clearance)
- Relevant certifications/permits for working in an electrical testing laboratory (ETL)
- Experience with Permit to Work (PTW) and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures is an advantage
- Responsibility, discipline, and ability to work under strict safety requirements

Electrical Technician

- Ensures the execution of major overhauls of electrical networks, equipment, and devices aimed at restoring their full service life and ensuring safe and reliable operation.
- Performs dismantling of outdated and worn-out electrical networks and equipment with subsequent replacement or modernization.
- Carries out installation of new electrical networks and equipment as part of major overhaul activities.
- Performs comprehensive restoration work, including replacement of main units, assemblies, and electrical components of equipment.
- Identifies causes of wear and equipment failures and takes measures to eliminate and prevent them during the overhaul process.
- Ensures that all work is carried out in accordance with design documentation, technical specifications, standards, and overhaul instructions.
- Performs commissioning, adjustment, and testing of equipment after completion of major overhaul.
- Complies with internal labor regulations and established work schedules.
- Adheres to occupational health and safety, industrial safety, and fire safety requirements during repair activities
- Recuirements:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in electrical equipment overhaul (major repairs).
- Secondary vocational or higher education in Electrical Power Engineering or a related field.
- Valid authorization to work with electrical installations above 1000 V.
- Knowledge of technologies and procedures for major overhaul of electrical networks and equipment.
- Certification in explosion protection (Ex) is preferred.
- Good understanding of occupational health and safety regulations and technical standards.
- Willingness to work on a rotational basis (21/21 schedule).
